Staff Sergeant Ricardo Jacobs served in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 2000 as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Leader.
He is a Lead Medical Support Assistant at the Atlanta VA Medical Center’s Atlanta Veterans Clinic located in Decatur, Georgia. He has worked for the VA Health Administration since April 2014. He is the Vice Chair of the Ft. McPherson Community Engagement Sub-Committee, Past Chair of the Atlanta Neighborhood Planning Unit R, President of the Campbellton RD Tax Allocation District Board, and Past Chair of The Baker Hills Neighborhood Association. He has been a High School Football Referee in the Georgia High School Association and the Atlanta Area Football Officials Association since 2002.
He is the proud father of two (2) daughters. In his downtime his enjoys spending time with his children and increasing knowledge in computer hardware, Cooking, music, and teaching.
