Staff Sergeant Ricky Smith is a U.S. Army veteran and Atlanta native who served honorably from 1987 to 1997 as a Combat Engineer and Airborne Paratrooper. His service included assignments with the 82nd Airborne Division, overseas deployments in Europe, and three tours during Operation Desert Storm. He concluded his military career by being selected to transport athletes during the 1996 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Atlanta. After military service, he founded and operated his own trucking company before retiring in 2021.
His passion is helping Homeless Veterans find housing and financial assistance for daily needs.
